Vilkaviškis’ Perlas Go turned the opening of the URBO-NKL season into a real basketball celebration. Full stands, music, emotions and support from the fans – you simply can’t convey that kind of energy on screen. You had to be there.
Basketball that brings farmers together
The owner of the Perlas Go team is farmer Rokas Šlivinskas . Therefore, it is not surprising that many farmers from all over the region meet in the stands at the Vilkaviškis basketball match. It is not only about points and victories – people who work in the fields every day, take care of machinery and create the future of the Lithuanian countryside meet here.
Events like this show that basketball is much more than a game. It’s about the people, the city, the community, and the feeling that unites everyone in the stands.
